Parking brake for your Kawasaki KRX 1000 - Fits all models. This brake allows for a pad-lock to be inserted through pre-machined holes to give you the added option to use as a theft deterrent. To engage, press brake pedal with right foot, slide the red arm to the right with your left foot to lock the pedal down. Simply push the brake pedal again to release.
Installation is simple and quick:
- Remove the 12mm nut from behind the brake pedal
- Remove the plastic rivet from the left side of the brake pedal
- Install parking brake on to factory stud, replace and tighten the 12 mm nut, install supplied 1/4" bolt and nut where the plastic rivet was.
ALWAYS USE PARK WITH THE SPRING BRAKE THINGY AND MAKE SURE YOUR BRAKES ARE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
