The plastic front bumper on your Polaris Pro R is prone to damage from regular trail use. As you may know, over time, exposure to the elements causes plastic to become increasingly brittle. With continued wear, your bumper becomes more susceptible to breaking when hit by debris on the trail. This is where our Polaris Pro R Front Bumper comes into play as an essential replacement part.
For this bumper design, we prioritized functionality, durability, and style. We incorporated the ability to mount a winch, ensured robust front-end protection, and created a design that enhances the overall appearance of your machine.
The bumper features a 1/4" thick framework combined with an 11-gauge steel outer shell. This construction provides excellent protection against debris like sticks and rocks, as well as minor collisions. The winch is mounted using a separate bracket that bolts directly to your machine behind the bumper. This design ensures the bumper safeguards both the winch and your vehicle. Additionally, the bracket is compatible with various winch models, offering flexibility to meet your needs.
To complete the design, we applied a durable black powder coat finish. This not only adds a sleek, professional look but also protects the bumper from rust and corrosion, ensuring it performs and looks great for years to come.
This bumper roughly weighs 30 lbs without the winch attached.
Our bumper is compatible with any of our Warn Winches. These winches come in Warn Axon 5500 LBS, Warn VRX 4500 LBS, or Warn VRX 3500 LBS. Warn winches are top of their class and have proven to be reliable under all conditions, even when submerged in water (IP68 rating). Warn winches come with everything you need to use them. For specifics of each winch, click the bolded links above. With a winch, we highly suggest one of our billet aluminum fairleads or a raw aluminum fairlead. Both accent nicely with the black bumper.
The bumper always comes with a winch mounting bracket, even if you don't purchase the winch. Other winch models will also work with our bumper.
Our design uses the pre-existing mount holes found on your Pro R. Unbolt the stock bumper and bolt ours on. Our Polaris Pro R bumper will require you to cut some of the plastic hidden behind the bumper. This cut can be easily done with a utility blade. If you decide you would like to go back to the original factory bumper you will still be able to use the factory bumper.
